This course was designed for new infection preventionists, nurses considering infection prevention, student nurses, or anyone with interest in preventing healthcare-associated infections. Participants will gain insight into the role of an infection preventionist and the specific tasks involved, with real-world examples given by knowledgable and experienced faculty. The conference provides a stimulating learning environment through informative lectures, exercises and direct interaction with the presenters.
