The History of ICPICP Associates is a national consulting company that was formed in 1986. Consultation provided by ICP Associates includes infection control and preparation for survey by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Consultation is provided to hospitals, nursing homes, home care agencies, surgery centers and health care industries. ICP Associates offers two Infection Control Manuals which were developed to facilitate implementation of Infection Control Programs in hospitals and long term care facilities.
The company provides numerous lectures each year on a variety of topics and coordinates a 3 day infection control basic training program which began in 1989. In addition, ICP Associates has faculty that will develop and present a custom training curriculum at any location. ICP Associates, in conjunction with InCo and Associates in Hawaii, has developed the most comprehensive compendium of visual aids for infection control training. It includes approximately 50 different sets of Power Point slides on disk, transparencies, and handouts for infection control training.
